AgroBid
Verified sourcing lines

Mid-size growers, world-market access — on the same terms the majors get.

AgroBid stands up documented, independently verified supply lines between producers in fraud- and disruption-prone origins and the buyers who need them — starting with a verified backup origin for EU commodity buyers. We coordinate the deal, the inspection and the settlement. We never take your goods or hold your money.

The wedge — a verified backup origin

Keep your suppliers. Add a proven backup line.

Three origins cover ~84% of the EU's walnut-kernel imports, and a single origin can drop out fast — Ukraine's official kernel exports fell sharply in 2025 when the official channel broke on a regulatory change, not the harvest. We don't ask you to switch. We rebuild that line the compliant way — a documented export through a licensed exporter, moved overland and independent of the blocked Black Sea ports — and run it as a verified secondary line, 10–20% of your volume, across two origins, so if one slips, the other covers.

First corridor

Walnut kernels · Ukraine + Moldova → EU

Two origins · separate reserves · each sub-lot independently measured before blending · ahead of the Sept–Oct new crop.

How a deal works

01

You set the spec

Grade, volume, destination, terms. We map it to verified origin capacity across the two cells.

02

Independent inspection at source

A third-party inspector — SGS, Cotecna or a buyer-approved provider — samples and grades every sub-lot before anything is blended. You rely on their report, not on our word.

03

Evidence pack

Identity of the exporter, lot spec with pass/fail thresholds, lab grades tied to the sampled lot, inspection report, photos and seal numbers — one documented file per lot.

04

Settlement on documented conditions

Funds move through a licensed bank or payment partner against agreed documents. On a quality deviation, the agreed conditions and retest rules govern release — before anything ships.

Example

A 20 t kernel lot, A/B/C sealed sampling at the exporter's facility · each sub-lot graded to your spec (light halves, moisture below your threshold) · lab result tied to seal number · photos at sealing — all before blending or shipment. Sample A to the lab, B to the exporter for retest, C held for any dispute.

Settlement — Execution Lite

We never touch your money.

We arrange the conditions, the inspection and the evidence. The money itself moves through a licensed partner — a bank instrument or a regulated payment provider — releasing on documented conditions. AgroBid never holds client funds, never takes the goods onto its books, and never earns on a currency spread.

  • Independent inspector holds the quality verdict — not us.
  • A licensed bank or PSP holds and releases funds — not us.
  • We hold the workflow, the documents and the evidence trail.

How we're paid

A fixed mandate fee + a success fee on completion. Inspection, freight, insurance and FX are third-party and passed through at cost.

What we never do

Hold your trade funds · take title to goods · guarantee performance · take credit risk · earn on FX spread.

Who runs this

AgroBid is founder-led. I'm Alex — a software engineer building verification and settlement infrastructure for fraud- and disruption-prone commodity trade, starting with the Ukraine + Moldova walnut corridor into the EU. The first corridors are run by hand, with independent inspectors (SGS, Cotecna or a buyer-approved provider) and accredited labs — you rely on their reports and sealed samples, not on my word. Company and VAT details are shared directly on a call and in the contract.
